Common reasons for a failed credit card payment
Insufficient funds or your credit limit has been reached.
A fraud alert or security block was issued by your bank.
Incorrect card details (number, expiration date, billing address, or security code).
Your credit card payment is overdue, causing your bank to temporarily pause payments.
What to do
Contact your bank or credit card provider to find out why the payment was declined and how to resolve the issue.
💰 Money reserved?
If your bank statement shows that your payment is “in reservation”, it means your bank has not yet processed the cancellation. The amount will appear as blocked or pending, but it still belongs to you.
We automatically cancel failed payments, so the money remains in your account. The speed at which your bank releases the funds depends on your bank, we don’t have any control over this process.
If the reserved amount hasn’t been released within 5 working days, please contact your bank or credit card provider directly.
My PayPal payment failed
It can happen that a PayPal payment cannot be completed. There are several possible reasons for this. Below are the most common causes and what you can do.
Common reasons for a failed PayPal payment
Security refusal: PayPal may decline a payment for security reasons. Contact PayPal Support to find out what happened.
Account restriction: If your PayPal account is restricted, you’ll need to resolve the issue before making payments.
Insufficient PayPal balance: Add funds to your PayPal account to complete your payment.
Linked account issue: If your linked bank account or credit card doesn’t have enough balance, top it up before retrying the PayPal payment.
Still having issues?
If you’ve tried all the steps above and your payment still isn’t going through, the fastest way to complete your order is to use an alternative payment method.
