PaysafeCard purchases are subject to certain daily and yearly limits. These limits are required by PaysafeCard, as they must follow certain legal obligations designed to keep customers safe.
When you approach these limits, we may ask you to complete a verification. Completing the verification process unlocks access to higher yearly purchase amounts.
If you don’t want to verify, that’s no problem – your limit will reset automatically on 1st January each year.

Frequently asked questions
1. What happens when I reach my daily limit?
If your order can’t be processed because you’ve hit your daily limit for your phone number, we’ll automatically send it when your limit resets. If you don’t want to wait, you can request a refund from our customer service team.
2. What happens when I reach my yearly limit?
If your order can’t be processed because you’ve hit your yearly limit before verification, we’ll send you an email with the verification steps. Once you complete it, your yearly limit for your phone number will increase and we’ll send you your code.
If you don’t want to verify, or if you’ve hit your increased yearly limit after verification, please request a refund from our customer service team. Your yearly limit will reset on 1st January.
3. What is verification and why do I need it?
Verification is a process where you confirm your details. Once approved, you’ll be able to buy higher amounts of PaysafeCard each year.
To complete this process, we will ask you for:
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- A copy of your ID or passport
- Proof of your address (e.g. recent utility bill, phone bill, or similar official document)
Please note that we will be conducting a PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) and Sanctions check. This is a routine step required for all customers and does not require any action from your side.
For the verification we only need the requested details, so you can optionally mask extra information like your social security number or photos – it keeps the process simple and secure. We will keep your information only for 24 hours.
Important: By providing these details, you declare you are the beneficial owner of this order and any future PaysafeCard orders.
4. What if I don’t want to verify?
That’s fine, you’ll still be able to buy PaysafeCard again once your yearly limit resets on 1st January.
5. Do these rules apply to everyone?
The limits and verification requirements apply to all PaysafeCard customers in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Switzerland and Uruguay.
If you have any further questions, our customer service team is always here to help.
